See every AI coding agent working on your repo, live, in one view
Running more than one AI coding agent against the same repository - Claude Code in one terminal, Codex in another, maybe Grok watching a third path - creates a new problem: keeping track of what each one is actually doing. Which story is Claude working on right now? Did Codex finish its task or is it stuck waiting for a permission prompt? The answer usually lives scattered across terminal scrollback in windows you have since covered up.
NoteThink's Agent activity card puts that answer directly on your project's Kanban board, next to the story each agent is touching.
What it shows
The agent card type reads each vendor's own local session files, directly on disk, on the machine you're running VS Code on:
- Claude Code - which sessions are live, and whether each is working, idle, or waiting on you, plus each session's transcript
- Codex - each session's rollout transcript
- Grok - which sessions are live, each session's tool and permission timeline, and usage where available
A session is attributed to a story when one of its own file edits changed that story's section of a todo.md or done.md board, in the current workspace or in any project folder open alongside it. The card also reads the working tree of every open git repository, through VS Code's built-in git extension, to show uncommitted files with their added and removed line counts.
No network call, no integration to set up
This is the detail worth underlining: NoteThink does not call out to any vendor's API to build this view, and no vendor is asked to write anything for NoteThink to find. It reads the same session files each agent already writes to your disk as part of doing its own job - ~/.claude/sessions/, ~/.codex/sessions/, ~/.grok/sessions/ and their neighbours. Nothing leaves your machine to produce the card.
Where it fits
The Agent Activity card lives alongside your ordinary story cards on the same board your team already tracks work on - the todo.md convention this workspace itself uses. If your team already runs multiple AI agents against a shared todo.md/done.md pair, the card turns "what is everyone working on" from a question you ask in chat into something you can see at a glance.
Try it
Install NoteThink from the VS Code Marketplace, open a folder where an AI coding agent has been active recently, and switch to Folder mode to see the aggregated board the card draws on.
